Meet John Wright: Customer Service Lead at Crossbar

At Crossbar, John Wright stands out as one of our go-to Customer Service Leads. John’s not just a team player; he’s a seasoned veteran in sports and a guru at making our users feel right at home. We recently caught up with John to learn more about his favorite things and his favorite parts of Crossbar.

Crossbar: Hey John! Thanks for sitting down with us. We'll start with an easy one: What's your favorite sports team?

John Wright: Easy - St. Louis Blues!

CB: What are some sports that you played growing up?

JW: Growing up, I was fortunate to play soccer, baseball, hockey, and basketball. In high school is when I narrowed down to only playing baseball and hockey.

CB: A bucket list item of yours?

JW: The top three items on my bucket list would be: 1. Travel to Greece, Italy, and Switzerland. 2. Experience the Winter Olympics in person. 3. Attend a Ryder Cup.

CB: What’s your favorite part about being a part of the Crossbar team?

JW: I would say my favorite part about being part of the Crossbar team is knowing there isn't one person not willing to help when it comes to the organizations or leagues that utilize the platform. It's a feeling of all hands on deck to help make sure everyone that utilizes Crossbar has a great experience.

CB: What's your favorite Crossbar feature currently?

JW: There are so many great features! The session based registration is one of my favorite features at this time. It gives organizations the ability to add private lessons or clinics, then allows the members to choose which session(s) they would like to attend. It allows organizations additional programs to offer or more ways to get their membership involved.

CB: What's your favorite thing about Crossbar customers?

JW: My favorite part about the Crossbar customers is the relationships we build over time. I feel extremely fortunate when speaking with clubs and organizations, and they share how our platform has helped grow their membership or how they had a team win a tournament. You can feel their excitement and it's such a great feeling to know our Crossbar team had a small piece in helping.
